It was absolutely awful. I had to visit A&E three times before any action was taken.
One Dr, and one consultant, on separate occasions used intimidating language to presumably stop me from going ahead with treatment.
I was referred for an MRI scan on the second visit and when I went back on the third visit I found out those notes had been lost.
The symptoms I was experiencing were those for a condition that would have needed immediate surgery and yet they were happy for me all three times to just walk out untreated.
I am waiting for my scan to go ahead on the 10th, until then my condition goes unexplained.
My hip, foot and leg is numb constantly with loss of mobility.
Very quick x-ray done straight away to check for possible breakage.
The staff in UTC were fanastic and the surgery team too I cant thank them enough.
All NHS staff need to be congratulated on their continuing professional attitude and care under these very difficult circumstances of the present day of COVID 19
When I saw the GP she was very professional and thorough.
However, I waited 2.5 hours in a full waiting room to be seen and was continually bumped down the list as other patients came in. Whilst I appreciate I was perhaps less urgent, spending 2.5 hours in an unventilated room at this time is not ideal. No window was open and two people were not wearing masks.
I loved the ‘booking of a time slot’ which meant I was in and out and home within an hour. The staff all knew their roles in the Safety process which meant it went smoothly.
Everything and everyone was efficient effective and reassuring. Welcome was very personal and waiting time was quite short
